Kapuria Bari is situated in Baroikaron. Basically centering the house, garments business was running with the British then. The clothe was also exported to London. A function of Zari song was held in this house on the day of `Bijoy Doshomi (the day of sacrificing the Durda idol). The then famous singers like Goni Boyati, Muslim Boyati, Bijoy Sarker took part in the function. The memories of liberation war have been studded with this house. The occupant Pakistani force used this place as a toture cell.
