Hazrat Maulana Mohammad Azizur Rahman (Quaid Sahib Huzoor)

Eternal hero Hazrat Maulana Mohammad Azizur Rahman was born in the village of Nesharabad.

 He is a prominent pir of South Bengal and the jewel of Jhalkathi people's eyes.

 The Nesharabad Kamil Madrasa founded by him stands tall as a unique educational institution in South Bengal and Bangladesh. 

Kamini Roy
(Born 1864- Died 1933)
Renowned poet Kamini Roy was born in Basanda village of Jhalkathi. She was the first female graduate of British India at that time.
